Last night James and I went out in San Francisco. We drove across the Bay Bridge, which never fails to awe, and meandered on foot through the waterfront tourist district and Aquatic park to Fort Mason.
What a great story! And yes, I’m similarly amazed by the skill that improv requires. The performers learn to make offers to one another to give the other performers something to build on, but the performers are also taught to, in Cathy’s words, “create with crap.” It’s such a beautiful skill, and applicable to so many situations we find ourselves in.
